Hypertension and Preeclampsia, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is one of the leading causes of maternal deaths worldwide, with Black women three-to-four times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women. This workshop will provide information on preeclampsia and other hypertensive disorders including identifying signs of these disorders as well as how to manage them.
